Capturing the dream for DOT

Dot Foods, a Hughes client, started in business when Robert Tracy and his wife, Dorothy (Dot), began a dairy product ingredient business out of their family station wagon in 1960.  Today the company is privately owned with many members of the Tracy family still very active in leadership.  As the nation’s largest food redistribution company, Dot employs more than 3,000 people and has almost 1,000 trucks on the road servicing distributors out of eight distribution centers across the United States.

How do we deliver relevant messaging in advertising (without privacy issues)?

It is my belief that the progression of an advert-resistant society is founded in the lack of relevant ads, not a general opposition to marketing or advertising as a whole. It’s readily apparent that a Venus razor commercial or Tampax print ad would cause a great deal of disengagement in the given medium amongst the male demographic, but it goes well beyond an outspread gender or ethnic differential. In a world where advertising is everywhere, the percentage of ads that relate to your specific interests or needs is quite low.

Without any question, New Balance is an American manufacturing success story. They are the only athletic shoe company still producing in the US.
