More than 100 veteran and civilian volunteers gathered on Tuesday to restore the Edgewood Children’s Center in Webster Groves. The Mission Continues, an organization that challenges veterans to continue their mission of serving the community, teamed with Target to plan the service project and recruit volunteers.
On Saturday, May 1st, several Hughes employees along with other family and friends helped rebuild a home in the North St. Louis City community. The day’s tasks included painting, structural repairing, handrail installation and several other projects.
On Monday, January 18, a large number of Hughes employees made their way to St. Louis University’s Campus Kitchen for a Martin Luther King Day community service initiative, organized by partner The Mission Continues. (more…)
